"Blood of Kiara". Is a joy for the fantasy fiction buff. It's multiple disparate, but interesting, characters are drawn together for what will certainly be an arduous quest. I can't wait for the next volume.
Very good storytelling by Mr.Walsh. In my mind's eye I could actually see the characters and locations as if they were from a previous life. When someone has asked me what this book is about, its hard to give a concise description, without giving away the entire book. This book is not a one trick pony, it cannot be singularly defined by pointing to only one brief portion of the storyline. I think the description on the back of the book summarizes it best. Bring on the next one, as I can't wait for the next book in this series.
Blood of Kiara has a unique storyline that includes drama, mystery, suspense, and humor. Mr. Walsh crafts engaging characters and settings with a remarkable ability to manifest his vivid imagination onto paper. Rarely do we find an author who can make narrative come to life with entirely new story lines and personalities. I am eager to see the characters and plots evolve in the coming novels.
Good storyline; action scenes well plotted out; writing is extremely visual-- the author captures a descriptive scene with an almost poetic economy of language
